One afternoon after gardening, I was eager to snap a few photos of what I had seen throughout the day. These snapdragon flowers have always been one of my favorites. They have always reminded me of subsurface vegetation, and more in particular, jelly fish. The link that I provided has a lot of microscopic imagery of this particular genus.

nice shot. i like the contrast of the background vs. the snapdragon. ( i like those flowers too. right up there with bleeding hearts)
